A Golden Feather on a rock
Golden Feathers are collectible items that Claire can use. These can be acquired from the Visitor Center, found in the wilderness, bought from another bird at a higher price, or given as rewards for completing tasks from other characters. There are a total of 20 Golden Feathers available in the game.
Usage[]
Each Golden Feather allows Claire to flap her wings once, climb a certain distance, and run at a higher speed for a certain time after obtaining the running shoes. Used Golden Feathers recharge when Claire is standing still or walking at the default speed.
Silver Feathers increase the running and climbing speed without additional Golden Feather consumption, thus increasing the Golden Feather’s efficiency.
Cold mechanic[]
When nearing Hawk Peak, the sub-zero temperature will freeze all used Golden Feathers, preventing them from recharging.
They can be restored by:
- Returning to warm areas
- Approaching a campfire
- Swimming in a hot spring

Near the marathon course: on a small ledge above a bouncing bloom near the path with all the runners
The visitor center allows you to buy 2 additional feathers
By delivering a shell necklace you receive from the shell quest you get a feather
By reaching ten hits in beachstickball you gain one feather
